`Ideal Father award' aims at develop respect

 for fathers among youths: Bhaiyyuji Maharaj

Indore:  `Adarsh Pita Puraskar' (Ideal Father award) is dedicated to all fathers who notwithstanding numerous odds and struggles in their lives, not only nurture their progenies to the best of their capacities but also enable them to become a qualified and responsible citizen of the society. 

It is an irony that despite their immense sacrifices and pains that they go through while upbringing their children, these fathers at the fag end of their lives are left to fend for themselves and are constrained to lead a life in homes for aged persons. Through this award, I just want to develop a sense of respect among today's youths for their fathers and guardians, said spiritual guru Bhaiyyuji Maharaj while giving away `Adarsh Pita Puraskar' to Harischandra Soni, a native of Indore.

International wrestler Sushil Kumar, former international Hockey player Dhanraj Pillai, noted film actors Milind Gunaji and Makrand Deshpande  and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.

A resident of Gauri Nagar locality in Indore city, Soni despite facing various odds and passing through turbulent phases of his life, not only groomed his sons and daughter, educated them but also saved life of his ailing eldest son by donating one of his kidneys. Soni is the second recipient of the  `Ideal Father award'.. Last year this coveted award constituted by Shree Sadguru Datta Dharmik Evam Parmarthik Trust in the  memory of Late Vishwasrao Deshmukh `Bapu', father of spiritual leader Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, had been conferred upon Kailash Rupalekar.

On the occasion, a farmer Omkarsingh Bhilwara was felicitated with `Unnat Krishi Samman', for his exceptional progress in farming. The farmer who owns 4 bighas of land growing 13 types of organic vegetables and 42 types of other saplings on his land.

In the functions, two books namely `Sangharsh Jyoti' and `Our Father' penned down and edited by spiritual leader Shri Bhaiyyuji Maharaj, were also released by the guests.

A newly developed website www.suryodayparivar.org was re-launched by the invited guests. The websites besides offering detailed information about various projects, will also provide a platform to philanthropic persons across the country and abroad to get associated with the Trust and projects being run by Bhaiyyuji Maharaj through donations and by being an active member of the Trust. 

In the evening from 7 pm onward, `kawaali' programme was presented by eminent kawaali singers Shahruk-Arman Hussain Panch Bhai of Nagpur,  Janab Halid Hussain Sabri and  Chand Khan of Indore.

A large number of distinguished  persons from various walks of life, including disciples and followers of Shri Bhaiyyuji Maharaj from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and elsewhere were present on the occasion.
